The Women Who Failed To Let Their Failures Define Them: ARIANNA HUFFINGTON
On Women Who Failed To Let Their Failures Define Them
When I think of Arianna Huffington, the very last thing I think of is failure. You?
In her twenties Arianna wrote a book that was savaged by the art community and wrote another one that was rejected by publishers 36 times and almost bankrupted her in the process.
In her thirties she endured a failed relationship which led her to move continents.
In her forties her marriage broke down.
In her fifties she ran for Governor of California and lost to Arnold Schwarzenegger.
In her sixties …well …we’ve all read Thrive.
What is truly remarkable about this woman is that she refused to let those failures define her, but instead used them as fuel.
I was deathly afraid of failing and in truth I still am, but leaning into has taught me that no fear I have or failure I will experience is new, so I’m going into discovery mode…want to join?
On the Becoming The Influential Me Podcast this week, we’re launching a 5 Part Series On Women Who Failed To Let Their Failures Define Them. I’ll be exploring how they failed and how they made it work for them.
In this week’s episode I’ll be spilling the tea on Arianna Huffington’s secret sauce.
PS. It’s worth the listen if only to hear me refer to her as Arianna Grande…more than once.
